UNCERTAINTY
This body of work investigates the fragility of our existence and explores how uncertainty around both the physical environment and our fears of global social, political and economic change influences us.
I sought to question our understanding of a dynamic earth and our place within this ecosystem by focusing on the frequency of earthquakes, both locally and globally and the disquiet felt when faced with uncontrollable events.
A significant part of my research centered on Western Australian country towns Meckering and Beverley, both within the most seismically active areas in Australia.
